Privacy Policy

DartsArena is an app for running darts tournaments on iPhone, iPad and Mac. It's built so that we never receive any information about you. This page explains what the app does with the information you enter.

We don't collect your data

DartsArena has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. We don't collect, store, sell or share any personal information, and the app doesn't track you.

What stays on your device

• Tournament data: player names, brackets, scores and settings are saved only on the device that runs the tournament. Deleting the app deletes them.
• Free-tournament count: to apply the free version's limit, the app keeps a list of random tournament IDs (no names or personal details) in your device's Keychain. If you use iCloud Keychain, Apple syncs it between your own devices. We can't see it.

Your local network

DartsArena asks for Local Network access so it can:

• show live scoreboards in web browsers (for example on a TV) on the same Wi-Fi as the host device, and
• let other phones and tablets on that Wi-Fi join your tournament as scorers, using a 4-digit pairing code.

This traffic goes directly between devices on your network. None of it passes through us. Anyone on the same Wi-Fi who opens a scoreboard address can see the player names and scores shown there, so keep that in mind on public networks.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details or Apple ID. The app only learns which DartsArena product you own, so it can unlock it. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

This website

playdartsarena.com uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Like any website, the hosting provider (GitHub Pages) may log technical information such as IP addresses to keep the service secure; see GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Children

DartsArena doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
